An inter school competition conducted on 4th September 2021 in our Main Campus school premises . Children from Std V to IX of various schools in and around Chennai city actively took part in these competitions .

The Competition focused on Technical and Non-Technical skills what student were be assisted by their respective teacher and understood task to be completed within minimum time . The students actively participated and they interacted and had good exposure at the competition .
The Valedictory function was graced by Dr. R. Balaji - Secretary and Correspondent , SBIOA Educational Trust , Mr. Nithish A.R. Singh - Our Correspondent , Mrs. Sunila Cherian – Principal in-charge . Our judges Mr. G.V. Chandrakanth , Mr. Chandrashekar Rajamani and Mr.K. Vinodhan were the Guests of honour .


Teachers' Day was celebrated on September 11, 2021 in the main campus. The programme commenced with Tamil Thai Vazhthu followed by lightning the Lamp and Teachers Day Oath. Mr. Anna Singaravelu - Pattimandra Pechalar was the chief guest who delivered the Teachers' Day message. Mr. Devi Selvam - Physical Education Teacher - Madrasa Hr. Sec. School, Chennai was honoured with Good Samaritan Award for his benevolence and thoughtfulness in extending a helping hand by distributing relief goods to 50 sports students belonging to the fishermen community of Government & Corporation Schools in Triplicane during the pandemic. The School Correspondent Dr. Nithish A. R. Singh gave the special address. On this solemn occasion the School's former Senior Principal and Administrative Officer - SBIOA Educational Trust , Mrs. Rajeshwari Menon and the former Principal Mrs Reita John conveyed their greetings on a virtual mode . On this special occasion teachers took active part in the variety entertainment programme which was a treat for all . The School also organised three competitions for teachers. Dr . R. Balaji – Secretary & Correspondent , SBIOA Educational Trust has been awarded with “National Education Excellence Award” and “Certificate of education Excellence” by International Institute of Education and Management , New Delhi and “Rashtriya Vidya Gaurav Gold Medal” and “Certificate of Excellence” by Indian Solidarity Council , New Delhi on 9th September 2021 for his outstanding achievement and remarkable role in the field of Education and research .


Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology honoured the teachers across the state at RIT in view of Teachers Day 2021 . Mrs. Sunila Cherian – Our Principal In-charge has been selected and presented the ‘Best Teacher Award’ on 11th September 2021 .


National Green Corps ( NGC ) – Royapettah , Chennai – 14 and Rotary Club of Vepery presented the “BEST TEACHER AWARD” on 11th September 2021 at Shri Shankarlal Sundarbai Shasun Jain College for Women, Madley Road , T.Nagar, Chennai – 600 017 .


Pasumai Vasal Foundation - Dindugal , Agni Pengal Tamizh Sangamam – Tamilnadu , Veeramangai Samooga Sindhanai Arakattalai – Trichy and Kambar Ilaignar Narpani Sangam – Krishnagiri associated and conducted Teachers Day Celebration and presented ‘Best Teacher Award’ for the academic year 2021 . Mrs. A. Mala – Academic Supervisor – Kinder Garten of our school was awarded with Kalvi Tamizh vendhar Award on 5th September 2021 .

75 th Independence Day Celebration :

On the solemn occasion of India’s 75 th Independence, our school had a grand celebration in the main school premises. The Chief Guest Mr. P. Deepak – ICAS – Deputy Controller – Income Tax Dept. – South Zone – our alumnus of 2003 batch hoisted the National Flag. The Guest of honour Mr. S. Manimaran – Treasurer – S.B.I.O.A. Educational Trust, Dr. Henry Prabhu Alfred – M.D. – Asst. Prof. Saveetha Hospitals – Incharge of Out Patients & ICU – our Alumnus of 2007 batch , Mrs. Mercy Vanathy – Staff Nurse – Stanley Hospital – our dear parent , the school Correspondent Dr. Nithish A.R. Singh, The Principal In Charge Mrs. Sunila Cherian, Compartment & Department Heads, teachers, students and parents took great pride in attending the celebrations and saluting the National Flag. The Welcome address was given by Mrs. Sunila Cherian – Principal In Charge. Baby I.P.Thirumozhi from U.K.G. enlightened everyone on the Spirit of Independence followed by Master P.M. Iniyan from U.K.G. performing as Thirupur Kodikatha Kumaran. The Independence Day Oath was taken by Master S.L.Sherwin of Std XI – J which was repeated by the audience. The Keynote Address was rendered by the school Correspondent Dr. Nithish A.R. Singh. The Independence Day message was given by the Chief Guest Mr. P. Deepak – ICAS – Deputy Controller – Income Tax Dept. – South Zone. Dr. Henry Prabhu Alfred – M.D. – Asst. Prof. Saveetha Hospitals gave a talk on Health Awareness during these dire times of pandemic. Mr. S. Manimaran – Treasurer – S.B.I.O.A. Educational Trust gave the Special Address.

The teachers Mrs. Priyamimi, Mrs. Arul Malar, Mrs. Vidivelli, Mrs. Hemavathy, Mrs. Vidhyadhari & Mrs. Subhasri were acknowledged for decorating the school lobby with Rangoli and were presented with gifts by the Correspondent Dr. Nithish A.R. Singh. Mrs. Jacqueline Jayakaran Proposed the Vote of Thanks followed by the cultural programme. To begin with, Sheril Kessandra from L.K.G. rendered the melodious number – ‘Vande Matharam’. The middle school champs presented a Pantomime – Shine India Shine. The Students from Primary gave a dance performance, tapping to the rhythm of a patriotic Hindi song. The students from Std IX to XII presented a docudrama – ‘A Glimpse of Freedom at Midnight’. The programme came to a close by singing the National Anthem played by the School Band.

Homage to the Departed Souls:

S B.O.A. Matriculation & Hr. Secondary School Chennai - 101organized a condolence meeting in loving memory of the school's former Principal Late Mr. L. Ravi and the school's service staff Late Mr. V. Seetharaman on 30th July 2021. The Management Committee members and staff paid their tribute. On this solemn occasion the staff donated a water purifier and a bulletin board to Mary Clubwala school for physically challenged children , Guild Of Service as a noble gesture in loving memory of the departed souls.



The second General Staff Meeting for the Academic Year 2021 - 2022 commenced on 12th July 2021 on virtual platform. Our Correspondent Dr. Nithish A R. Singh chaired the meeting.


To encourage reading habits and in connection with the National Reading Day,on19thJune 2021, our School Library conducted Reading day programme to celebrate and honour the father of the Library movement, the late P N Panicker .


The International Yoga Day was celebrated in our school on 21st June 2021. Students of Std I to VIII participated online for the ‘International Yoga Day’. It was a wonderful experience for the teachers and students to learn asanas online.


Children from UKG -B did a special video mentioning about their ‘Favourite Things’ on 28th June 2021.Their joy knew no bounds while talking about their precious possessions like toys,games,etc.They spoke spontaneously and happily on all their favorite things.


Bharath Puthagalayam Book Publishers organized a Story Telling Competition in the month of October 2020. 260 participants took part for the competition. We are happy to record that Dr. Sundararaman – Academic Supervisor - Tamil was adjudged first and was honoured with the first prize of Rs. 5000 worth books on June 21st 2021. The school appreciates Dr. Sundararaman's noble gesture of donating the Prize winning books worth Rs. 5000 to the school library.


AIFPRO (Association of Indian French Professionals and Researchers) and The French House Jaipur organized a National French singing contest- 'Do re Mi fa so la ti' for students and teachers as part of the celebrations of Fete de la Musique on World Music Day . The online live final event which was relayed on YouTube took place on 21st June. We are happy to record that Mrs. Kanthishri Rajan of the French department won the First place in the teacher's category.

General Staff Meeting: 2021-22:

The General Staff Meeting for the Academic Year 2021 - 2022 was held online on 2nd June 2021 at 10 a.m. The Correspondent of the school Dr. Nithish A.R. Singh chaired the meeting. The Vice Principal Mrs. Sunila Cherian welcomed the gathering and briefed the agenda of the meeting. The Headmistress Mrs. Jacqueline Jayakaran, Assistant Head Mistress Mrs. C. J. Nalini and Mrs. Vijayaragini from the Dept. of Chemistry briefed the staff on the importance of taking online classes effectively and the precautions to be taken while taking classes, the dress code of teachers and students, recording the online sessions, attendance, assignments, etc and the meeting to be organized with parents before the commencement of the online classes to discuss the rules to be followed during the online sessions. The school Counselor Ms. Sneha Ebenezer also cautioned the staff to be careful about the verbal exchanges online as it could become detrimental and suggested to implement the Child Protection Policy. She also volunteered to council students from class 1 to VIII apart from classes IX to XII on a weekly, fortnight or a monthly basis depending upon the schedule and need of the hour. The session was then open for feedback and suggestions from the staff. The important issues were addressed by the Vice Principal Mrs. Sunila Cherian and was approved by the Correspondent. Dr. Nithish A. R. Singh. Mrs. Rashmi Kuruvilla - Academic Supervisor - English / French proposed the vote of thanks and the meeting came to a close on a positive note.

Bid Adieu to the Principal Mr. L. Ravi :

The school bids farewell to the Principal Mr. L.Ravi on 31st May 2021 after 34 years of dedicated service. A farewell programme was organised in school and it was relayed through the virtual platform for all the staff to join during the lock down period. The school Correspondent Dr. Nithish A R. Singh and Mr. S. Manimaran - Treasurer SBIOA Educational Trust officiated the programme. The Vice Principal Mrs. Sunila Cherian welcomed the gathering . Dr. Nithish A. R. Singh felicitated the Principal and honoured him with a garland and presented him gratuity retirement cheque . Mr. S. Manimaran gave his felicitation and honoured the Principal by draping a shawl.Mrs.Jacqueline Jayakaran - Head Mistress, Mrs. C.J Nalini - Asst. Head Mistress, Mrs. Meena Muralidharan - Academic Supervisor, Mrs N.A. Mala - Academic Supervisor honoured the Principal with their felicitations. A citation was read by Mrs. Rashmi Kuruvilla - Academic Supervisor and it was presented by the school Correspondent. Fruit basket, nuts & dry fruits, traditional snacks were presented by the Compartment Heads. Mr. Samuel Jebastin - Office Manager presented honey as a mark of goodwill to the Principal. Mr. Govindaraj - office staff presented a flower pot and Mr. Subramanian - office staff garlanded the Principal with fresh flowers. Mr. Govindaraj - school gardener draped a shawl and honoured the Principal. Staff Association cheque and gift was given by Mrs. Namagiri - Secretary and Mrs. Bindhuja - Treasurer. Compartment Heads and Academic Supervisors presented their momentos and wished all goodness during his retired life which was followed by the response of the Principal Mr. L. Ravi . Principal's daughter Mrs. Chandra Shree also addressed the gathering online. The farewell programme came to a close with the vote of thanks presented by Mrs. Namagiri - the Staff Association Secretary. The school wishes the Principal Mr. L. Ravi a happy, peaceful and blessed retired life.


In order to honour, appreciate and recognise the students and their parents who have shown extraordinary scholastic achievement for the year 2020-2021, the school organised a proficiency award ceremony on 19th April for Std I to VIII and 28th April for Std IX & X . Around 35 class toppers from Std I to VIII and 16 class toppers from Std IX & X and their parents attended the programme and received their proficiency certificates from our Correspondent Dr Nithish.A.R.Singh, Mr.S. Manimaran – Treasurer , SBIOA Educational Trust and our Principal I/C Mr. L. Ravi . Our Correspondent applauded the students, parents and the teachers and appealed to the parents to render their continued support for the welfare of the student community .

தேசப் பிதா காந்தியடிகளின் தனிச் செயலாளர் திரு வி. கல்யாணம் அவர்கள் தன்னுடைய 100 வது வயதில் இயற்கை எய்தினார்..... நம் எஸ் பி ஓ ஏ மெட்ரிக் மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளியில் நடைபெற்ற ஒரு சுதந்திர தின விழாவில் கலந்து கொண்டு.... நம் பள்ளியையும்... மாணவர்களையும்... வாழ்த்தினார்... அந்த நினைவுகள் நெஞ்சில் நிழலாட... அவரின் ஆன்மா சாந்தியடைய வேண்டுகிறோம்.


The Investiture Ceremony commenced on 13th March 2021 . Our Correspondent Dr. Nithish A.R.Singh was the guest of honour. Mr. Samuel Jebastin – the Office Manager draped a shawl and the Vice-Principal Mrs. Sunila Cherian presented a bouquet and welcomed our Correspondent. Master Mithul.B – Std XI A gave the welcome address .Our Correspondent addressed the young leaders of the School and encouraged them to take up their responsibilities as vibrant leaders. The student leaders had a ceremonial slow march as the School Band played Rajasthan Waltz . It was a proud moment for the young leaders as they received their Badges from our Correspondent. An awareness programme was conducted involving all students of UKG - D on the topic - Corona Virus - A- Avoid Crowd to Z- Zero Face Touching. In conclusion pleading - ‘CORONA VIRUS GO AWAY, WE WANT TO PLAY’.


LKG children presented virtual Flowers Day Celebration on 12th October 2020.Children were dressed in the costumes of different flowers like Jasmine, Rose, Lotus and many more. All the kids exhibited their talents by highlighting the qualities of the flowers. LKG babies stole the hearts of everyone through their innocent speeches, songs and dances. They also planted plants to show the need of plants and trees in futur e. On the whole Flowers Day Celebration was a grand success.


UKG - A and UKG - B presented a fantabulous video on "Eating Etiquette” on 22nd October 2020. The young buddies clearly explained eating etiquette and the rules to be followed while eating. Deepthi of UKG - A spoke well on healthy food and benefits of eating healthy food. Shanvitha. K of UKG - B thanked our Management Members, Principal, Headmistress, Academic supervisors and the team of KG teachers for arranging a virtual platform to showcase the talents of the students duri ng Covid 19 Pandemic. Overall the video was very interesting and informative. Children were able to learn table manners and importance of eating healthy food.


A video was presented on the theme ‘Love and Courtesy’ by the UKG - C and UKG - D kids on 29th October 2020.Children spread the message of love and courtesy, which was applauded by one and all.


Gothe Institute conducted the Web Podcast Workshop from 26th to 30th October 2020. Our students from Std XI & XII participated in making podcast against 12 teams from Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh. They were given the topic -‘Back to the Future 2050 - Professions’ using German language. Our students made a short film and won the II place. The winners are as follows: 1. Tina George - XII D 2. A beautiful video was created in connection with the festival of Diwali, compiling the performances of the UKG (A & B) kids. This video was released on the Diwali day on 14th November 2020. Children vividly explained why and how Diwali is celebrated every year. They also listed the do's and don’ts to strictly follow while bursting crackers. This information was very valuable to everyone.


Children’s day was celebrated on 14 November by UKG C and UKG D. Children were told that it was the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawarlal Nehru. Children entertained everyone by singing and dancing. They dressed like chacha Nehru and delivered messages. They also spoke about their ambitions and enjoyed their day to the fullest. They spent the day greeting their friends HAPPY CHILDRENS DAY. Many children participated in the Children's Day programme which made the parents feel very happy.


Children's Day is celebrated every year on the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. His fondness and love for children is a well-known fact. Nehru said, "Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow," However, he would perhaps have never imagined how much education has changed this year when schools have been shut due to Covid’19. This year Children's Day will probably remain etched in the young minds. To cheer up the young minds our school planned to conduct various competitions at different levels of age. On 20th November 2020 we conducted various competitions like Dance, Singing, Origami, Fancy Dress, Elocution, Wealth from Waste and Role play for students of classes 1 to 5. Competitions were conducted on live Zoom Online Classes. Judges were invited to Zoom Online classes to score the students talents. Students participated enthusiastically and proved their inherit talents. Participants and winners were rewarded with online certificates.


‘CIART’-Centre for Indian Art Resources and Training, Maharashtra conducted National Level Art competition and our students S.Keerthi of VIII E and K.Dhanushiya of III B received the Grade A award on 11thNovember 2020.

Online Special Classes Conducted:

The Online Classes for Std X and XII were conducted from28thto 30thDecember 2020.


LKG children presented a special assembly - Good Manners on 21st December 2020.Master Krishna.S of LKG -A commenced the assembly about good manners with an introduction which was amazing. Many children actively participated and dramatized the magical words - Please, Sorry, Thank you, Excuse me and so on. Baby Thirumozhi l.P. recited a rhyme on good manners which was appreciated by one and all. On the whole children were applauded for their uniqueness.


The UKG children presented an amazing video on Christmas celebrations on 25th December 2020. Children gave a detailed speech on Christmas which was followed by the Bible reading. A tableau was presented depicting the birth of Jesus. Little Santa’s danced to the chiming jingle bells. Children greeted everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2021.


Invitation for a live Youtube demonstration on Artificial Intelligence from DIYA Academy was sent to all the children.

To honour the Indian Mathematical Genius “Srinivasa Ramanujan” who was born on December 22nd 1887, children were motivated to take part in Ramanujan Math Quest from classes III to XII.


Times NIE in collabaration with Bennatt University invited our school children for a “Virtual Workshop “on skills for success in post Covid World along with parents and faculty at 5 p.m. on 22nd December 2020.


S.Ekanthika of Std. IX - A was positioned at Fifth place in Tamilnadu State Championship - Table Tennis which was held from 9thto 14thDecember 2020.


Umesh.K of VII – F took part in State Championship Table Tennis Tournament from 9th to 14th December 2020 at Venue: SDAT MEDIMIX Chandra Table Tennis Coaching Centre, Mogappair, Chennai.
His Team secured V Place in State Table Tennis Championship. Umesh .K individually secured Runners Up in Sub-Junior Boys in State Table Tennis Championship.


With mixed feelings the SBOA Matric Family bid adieu to 16 of our dedicated and experienced faculty who have retired from their services .
A very delightful farewell function was hosted by the Management members of our SBIOA Educational Trust on the 29 th of January, 2021 to honour the retiring staff for their outstanding and notable services rendered to the school for the cause of education.The management gifts were distributed by the Secretary and Correspondent of the SBIOA Educational Trust Mr. R. Balaji.The President of the SBIOA Educational Trust offered his felicitations through a Zoom call.

30 students from classes VI to IX - S.B.O.A. Matric. & Hr..Sec.School , Chennai - 101 had the privilege of participating in the Sadhir 10000 largest Bharatanatyam Dance consisting of 10,176 participants, organised by the Department of Tourism, Government of Tamilnadu ( India) in Chennai on February 8, 2021. The event was held at S.I.V.E.T College, Gowrivakkam, Chennai. Our Correspondent Dr. Nithish A. R. Singh and Mr.S.Manimaran - Treasurer , SBIOA Educational Trust honoured and congratulated the proud Guinness Stars.

Our School organized a Medical Camp in co-ordination and initiation by our Correspondent Dr.Nithish A.R.Singh to all the Teaching & Non-Teaching staff on 6th March 2021 at the Annexe Campus . The Medical Camp was conducted in co-ordination with the Rotary Club – Rajan Eye Care Clinic – Eye check up , Lion’s Club – Blood Donation Camp , Mohan’s Diabetic Centre – Blood Pressure , Glucose Level Screening (CBG) , Foot Examination , Body Mass Index , Immunity Booster Counseling , Diet and Weight Management Counseling and Meenakshi Ammal Dental College and Hospital – Dental Screening camp .


Our School conducted the Women’s Day celebration programme on the 8th of March 2021 in the Main Campus . Mr.P.Nallapermal Pillai – President , SBIOA Educational Trust gave his presidential address online . Mr.R.Balaji , Sec. & Correspondent was felicitated for being conferred with Doctorate Degree . Our Correspondent Dr. Nithish A.R.Singh delivered the special address . Mrs.S.Shanthi – Associate Secretary - SBIOA Educational Trust gave the Women’s Day message encouraging the womenfolk of the school to constantly work hard to achieve greater heights . The Management members and the guests were felicitated with draping of shawl and were presented with a sapling . Dr. Bhairavi Senthil , the guest of honour had a very interactive session with the lady staff of the school on skin care , body health and fitness . Mrs. G. Sundari , our Alumna – 1993 batch gave a motivational speech on following one’s passion inspite of opposition to be a successful performer in life . Mr. Jebaraj , Department of Physical Education introduced Mr. Francis Sebastian - Gen. Secretary & Director of the Tamilnadu Blind Football Association , Chennai and highlighted his contribution to the visually challenged – Blind Girls Football Team . It was followed by the team showcasing their talent with a live demo of the game . The staff choir entertained the gathering with a special song . The programme came to an end with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr.G.Karthikeyan , Department of Physics followed by National Anthem .


Dr.R. Balaji- Secretary & Correspondent , SBIOA Educational Trust was selected as ‘The Edu Icon’ of the year 2020’ by Education Today ( Forbes , India ) for his exemplary contribution , sincerity , dedication and hard work in the field of Education . In this regard , our School honored Dr.R.Balaji - Secretary & Correspondent , SBIOA Educational Trust by presenting him with a citation , presented by Mrs. Rashmi Kuruvilla , Department of English . He was also presented with a Painting done by Mr. Chandran , Department of Arts & Crafts .


On 8th March 2021 , as an initiative to encourage and support the cause of Women , our School presented Footballs and T.Shirts to the Blind Girls Football Team of the Tamilnadu Blind Football Association , Chennai .


Dr. R. Balaji , Sec.& Correspondent - SBIOA Educational Trust has been conferred with the doctoral degree by the University of Central America for his accomplishments in public life in promoting Education for establishing in equitable society . S.B.O.A. Matriculation & Hr. Sec. School takes immense pride in honoring Dr.R.Balaji on his momentous occasion on 10th March 2021 .


Sai Siddharth.P of LKG-A participated in the mega event conducted in their apartment on account of Shivaratri in making Lord Shiva with 3*3 Rubik’s Cube . We are proud to say that the Red and Orange cubes were done by Sai Siddharth.P of LKG – A .


Vishyanth. V of Std I-A received Swachh Bharat Art Excellence Award from National Education and Human Resource Development for participating in Handwriting , Drawing & Painting competition.


Kalam UV Foundation conducted Drawing Competition on 21st of February 2021. Devadharshini S. of std IV- A won the First Place and Madhuvanthi A. of Std V- B won the Third Place.


Elocution competition was conducted on 19th February 2021 for the children of Std X on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Great Emperor Chakrapathy Shivaji . Appreciation Cards were distributed to J.Jeffrey X – G , S. Ayisha X – C and R. janet X – F for their exemplary speech .


A Story telling competition was conducted for the UKG children on 26th February – Tell a Fairy Tale . Appreciation Cards and Crayons were given for the Best Story Teller. B. Madhav Nambi UKG – C , P. Deepthi UKG – A and S. Sai Saran UKG – D were the prize winners .


To Commemorate Raman Effect , National Science Day was celebrated in our School on 28th February 2021 . In this regard , Online competitions were conducted for Students of Std I to VIII and e-certificates were given to the prize winners . Std IX students had the Quiz competition in School Library . S. Abishek Kumar IX – C , S. Sabarish IX – F and T. Brindha IX – G were honoured with appreciation cards


Yacika.V of Std II B participated in State Kata Championship Sub Juniors held at Sri Sayee Vivekananda Vidyala Matriculation School , Kodungaiyur , Chennai on 7th February 2021 and was placed II in Individual Kata Girls Category .


26 Staff members aged 45 and above who were willing to take the Vaccination were taken to SIIMS for Covid – 19 Vaccination .

Recitation competition was conducted for LKG kids and Singing for UKG...Other competitions like Mono Act, Storytelling, Speech, Fancy dress etc were conducted for other primary class students. Initially, a preliminary round was conducted for the participants on a virtual platform. Judges observed the videos and declared the first three winners in each category. On 27th March 2021, a programme related to 'Tal Hunt' , named 'VIBRANCE 2021', was organised in our school (Annexe), in the Conference Halls. Our Secretary & Correspondent, Dr. R.Balaji presided over the function. Our Correspondent, Dr Nithish A.R Singh and our PTA President Mr.B.Jai Sankar attended the function. The winners performed on the stage with their colourful props and costumes.The other students performance videos were played on the screen.Our Secretary & Correspondent, Dr. R.Balaji congratulated the children on their mind blowing performance and also thanked the teachers and parents for their co-operation..He along with our Correspondent, Dr.Nithish, gave away the trophies and certificates to the prize winners.

There was a motivational speech organized for the middle school teachers in the Annexe Conference Hall on 27th March 2021 . Mrs. Rudhumilla Rameshbabu , Chairperson – First Step School of Banking Coaching Institute was the resource person. The Resource person motivated the teachers to participate actively and interact enthusiastically all through the session. The talk concentrated on the easy methods of training the students to face the competitive exams. The methodology was of giving clues to remember the answers of the various events and the current affairs. Enthusiastic participants in turn received a chocolate as a token of positive reinforcement. There was a motivational speech organized for the primary teachers in the Main school Conference Hall on 29th March 2021 . Mrs.G.Sundari- Alumna 1993 batch – Director - SpiralUp solutions (P) Ltd. was the resource person . The session was to instill creativity in children by developing reading habits . The motivational talk concluded with a famous saying by Albert Einstein "Creativity is within every kid, Logic will take you from A to B, Imagination will take you everywhere".


TMr. S. Kumrasamy retired on 31st March 2021 after completing 27 years of service . Our Correspondent Dr.Nithish A.R.Singh , Mr. L. Ravi - Principal - I/C and the Staff Association honoured him .

Sanjay Selvam of Std VI D is honoured as the Young Promising Player of the series in Dr. Sivanthi Adithanar Memorial Trophy 2021 on 6th March 2021 .


P.Sanjay Selvam –VI D was adjudged as the Man of the Match in Little Masters Trophy 2021 Under- 13 District Level Tournament on 25th March 2021 organised by Stag Cricket Ground , Chennai . He was the youngest of all the players .


INTER-SBOA Competition- Creative Quest 2021 was conducted on 17th March 2021 at SBOA School and Junior College. Our school bagged the second and the third prize in the English Stand Up comedy competition . The students who did us proud are Shiyem. R - VIII D who bagged the second Prize and Sanjiv.J - VIII B who bagged the third prize. This was among 21 participants from 12 SBOA Schools.


Mrs. Jacqueline Jayakaran , Our Head Mistress has awarded an appreciation card to Jai Nithish R.D. – VII B for donating a pet (pigeon) for the Pet's zone on 20th April 2021 .


Our school hosted their Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony on 21st April 2021 for the academic year 2020 - 21 on a Virtual platform. The programme was uploaded in our official School Youtube channel . The programme started with a Welcome speech delivered by Ziya Fathima of UKG 'C'. The Tiny tots of LKG presented a Music Extravaganza with their song 'It's a Small World'. Our Correspondent, Dr.Nithish A.R Singh delivered his message and addressed the parents, teachers and students. Our K.G Academic Supervisor, Mrs.N.A Mala read the Kindergarten Annual Report for the academic year 2020-21. She gave a brief description about the online activities done throughout the year.Shakthi.S of U.K.G 'D' took a Oath on behalf of all the KG students. Mrs.Thansheela Fathima, mother of Mohamed Shayan of UKG 'B' gave her valuable response about the school and the KG teachers. Thanishka.A of UKG 'B' spoke about her 2 years of experience In Kindergarten.UKG kids presented an Action song 'Thank you teachers', delivering their message of Love and gratitude to all the Kindergarten teachers. Finally, Deepthi.P of of UKG 'A' proposed the Vote of thanks.
